A Dream With Hope |

I walked through faith’s hall of fame
Viewing the scarred shields
Of those who served without shame
And received the glory God’s grace yields.
On the walls were sacred scenes
Depicting the daring disciples’ deeds
As with all patience by all godly means
They tended to special spiritual needs.
I saw Dorcas’ needle and thread
And Lydia’s products of purple in array,
And upon each crowned head
Was endless life in an eternal day.
Yes, I talked with them all;
With Abraham and Moses I met
Peter and John and beloved brother Paul.
The thrill of it I remember yet!
Now, though, my dream is through
And my heart swells with love
As I contemplate seeing you
