Welcome Harry And Leslie Osborne

"God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus" (2 Cor. 7:6). "I am glad of the coming of Stephanas and Fortunatus and Achaicus" (1 Cor. 16:17). Paul was comforted by the coming of his dear friends in the faith, and are we blessed today with the presence of our esteemed servants in the Lord, Harry and Leslie Osborne.
Harry is not only a fearless, faithful preacher, but he serves also as an elder in the church where he lives and labors. That speaks volumes about his character and that of his family. So, we welcome them for their work’s sake and look forward to being informed and reformed by the truth that shall be preached. Harry is a true friend of the gospel, loyal to the Lord and faithful in the church.
Of course, Harry is no stranger to most of us. He has been a part of two meetings here. That he is back again testifies to the strength of his preaching and the goodness of his life, for we all know that our elders will have nothing less than the truth as preached by good and faithful servants in Christ. May it ever be so here at Pruett and Lobit.
Clear your calendar. Arrive early. Meet and greet visitors with warmth and kindness. Sit toward the front. Sing with enthusiasm. Pray fervently and reverently. Listen carefully and thoughtfully to what the Bible teaches. Encourage the weak. Build up as you would be built up. God will give us grace. Let us give him glory.
