Our Meeting With Harry Osborne

Our meeting next week is not about Harry Osborne. It is with him, but not about him. The meeting is about "Jesus Christ and him crucified" (1 Cor. 2:2). It is about salvation by grace through faith (Eph. 2:8, 9). It is about "the power of God unto salvation." It is about the blood of the cross. It is about the church of the Christ. It is about heaven. It is about hell. It is about "all things that pertain to life and godliness." It is about his love, his life, and his death for us.
You may attend services which deal with the flesh and not the faith, which inform the outer man rather than reform the inner man. You may learn from profane preachers how to enrich your personal portfolio, but you can learn from gospel preachers, like Harry Osborne, how to increase the measure of your spiritual treasure.
Harry has academic degrees in business finance. He could tell us how to prosper in the world. However, he deals with those who are bankrupt in spirit and who need the riches of Christ credited to their heavenly account. "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul (Mk. 8:36)?
Harry will tell of true riches which cannot be destroyed (Matt. 6:19-21). Long after the worldly pleasure of the coming week has been forgotten, the spiritual treasure of the gospel will abide within those who hear Harry’s lessons on the "unsearchable riches of Christ."
