A Little Space

"Just a little space is all I need," said the long legged gentleman as he set his few belongings down in the home of Joshua Speed. Lincoln had moved to Springfield. "Just a little space" is all he needed.
How true that is of all of us. We may desire "more space," but "just a little space" is all we need. The Lord was born in Bethlehem. "Just a little space," a manger was his bed. He had "not where to lay his head." At last, he was buried in "just a little space," a borrowed tomb. "Just a little space" was all that was needed to effect our salvation.
When we die, "just a little space" is all we will have until the morning of the resurrection. After that, what kind of "space" will we have? Consider that vast amounts of heavenly space are promised to the saved! A "lake" is promised for the lost. Whether it be heaven or hell, it will be all that is needed. Will it be what you want?
